Georgia Wyllie is an Australian cricket, who bowls left-arm medium pace and is a right-handed batsman. Georgia grew up an hour south of Perth, playing with Mandurah Junior Cricket Club with her younger brother, and now plays at South Perth Cricket Club. Georgia progressed through the WA underage pathways, travelling from the country each week to train and play. After a stand out U18 tournament as captain, she was awarded her first WA WNCL contract in 2020. Georgia made her debut for WA in 2021/22, opening the bowling in all games she played.
After a breakout year in 2021/22, she was awarded the Female Young Rising Star Award. On top of this, she was voted winner of the Legacy Award, a peer and staff voted award for the player who lived the values the most throughout the year.
Away from cricket, Georgia is currently studying for a Bachelor of Education and being the Head female mentor at Cricket Mentoring, a coaching company based in Perth.
Georgia will continue to play for WA in the upcoming 2022/23 season.
